Changing Times

Wow things have been crazy for the past few months. And I've been neglectful. *shakes head* I said I would do this consistently but that hasn't been working out.  Well darn it I'm going to start doing this blog.

Things are more calm now. We moved into our own place(WOOHOO independence). We are PROUD renters of a manufactured home! 3 glorious bedrooms, 2 amazing bathrooms with the main to ourselves!!
It is kind worrisome being on our own but we finally did it. Now comes time for the loneliness. Days blend together for me even though I know what day of the week it is. Momma D is working hard at work. I'm enjoying my last few weeks as a stay at home mommy. Debating on whether or not to get a REAL job or do babysitting at home.

The girls have finally realized that we are at this home to stay. It took a while to adjust and I'm sure we still have some more time however things have finally calmed down.

Back when I first opened this blog I was planning on doing elementary education in college. But that is going to take me 4 years to get through with, sorry to say, crappy pay. Don't misjudge me, I love kids and especially other peoples kids(hey their the ones that you can enjoy but get rid of), but I don't have 4 years to get a career. So I decided to go into nursing. I know what you are thinking, "how can she become a nurse in less than 2 years?" Well I plan on doing a LPN(Licensed Practical Nurse) diploma program. Originally takes 1 year to get through but it is going to take me 2(plus I have to do my core classes to, so might as well say 3). I'm going to have to attend part-time because I need a full-time job. Majority of schooling will be online except for my internship(obviously). I'm really looking forward to it because It is good work hours(possibly up to 12 hour shifts a day) great pay(starting usually from $15 and ^) plus I might possibly be able to make enough a month so that Momma D could be the lovely housewife. :) Which neither of us minds that.

That would mean Momma D will be around for all their sports things they might get into. I am personally not an E.S. or H.S. sports person. Never really cared for it. But Momma D was. She played basketball all through high school. And she was good at it too. Momma D would be the best support system for them if they want to get into sports. And who says my shifts are going to take away my family time? I could get lucky enough to work in a doctor office working 8-5 shift. Or in a hospital working a 3am-3pm shift. Either way, the girls will always have as much support from me as Momma D.

Signing off now. TONS of things to do. I'll post later.....
